Down by the river…
At the week-end we headed off down to the river,to meet up with Caroline and Ray, taking a picnic with us.
Still far too cold to be swimming in the river, but I did get onto the river in Ray’s canoe.
My virgin voyage, lessons are to follow , so I have been told.
while on the river we saw a Mink and got very very close to a Kingfisher too.

That sounds like a great day out. I’ve never seen a kingfisher close up. I’m envious!
