A moment of madness….

Down by the river.

A few glasses of wine.

Then splash…. in the river for a swim.

Not for long as I can tell you it was freezing cold.

I was numb when I got out, with only a coat and warmth from a BBQ to keep us warm.

    Dear Sally, I live very close to the Wensum in Lower Hellesdon-trouble is, I can’t find out if it is permitted to swim here! Any ideas – found you on the wild water swim site. WHERE DO YOU GO? vIC

    Madness?! Total insanity you mean!!! Oh, Sally, you are braver than me. Although I used to swim in the sea at Easter when i was young. And stupid. So cold I wouldn’t be able to breathe. Brrrr.
