Sally in Norfolk

• Just setting off after lunch another 7 miles to go weather not good today #
• Now having dinner in bridge of orchy hotel after 19 miles in the rain #
• Staying at the highland sleeper cool place bunk beds in the train station #
• Thanks to gehwol foot cream and soothing gel i dont have sore feet #
• Time for sleep a long 21 miles tomorrow #

19 miles in the pouring rain today , but that did not stop me enjoying every step. We made good time and arrived in bridge of orchy at 4. 30 after an 8 hour day . Staying at the highland sleeper which is a cool place in the railway station. Beds are 3 bunks high thankfully geoff has a bottom bunk and i have the second bunk so i can be on top of him all night

Now in the drovers inn after the best days walking so far . It was a good 14 miles along a rocky on a the banks me loch lomond . Geoff even managed a dip in the loch but i missed out as it was not secluded enough we leave most me our fellow walkers tomorrow as we have 2 longer walking days ahead

Started the day with a great walk over conic hill , i even got geoff to go up to the top too ! Around mid day the rain stopped and we finished the days 15 mile walk along loch lomond in the sunshine . Now in the youth hostel not impressed as i cannot share room with geoff. Its going to be a long night.

An easy first day of 12 miles. Most amazingly in brilliant sunshine now in elmbank bed and breakfast resting up for tomorrows 15 miles and wondering if we dare hope for another warm sunny day .
