We finally had the chance to try my Sloe Gin out last week-end.
Having never really tasted it before i had nothing to compare it with, so had no idea if it was good or bad.
Lucky for me Alan makes his own and told me mine was very good…. so good ,he asked for my recipe.

I’m not a fan of gin generally, because of the taste of arange peel.
How did this taste, if you compare it to something?

Well Crushed… I am not much of a drinker but I do like a gin and tonic, much to my amazement, sloe gin tastes nothing like gin, its just a sweet fruity licquer

Yes cherrypie it was very nice…. and i have never tasted orange peel in gin either more purfumy to me if that makes sence…

I haven’t tried it either so couldn’t give honest opinion. If it tastes good, go for it
