Today was the annual trip to Dunwich with the folk from Jesus Green pool.
Geoff and I turned up with another 16 brave souls for the yearly swim.
The weather conditions were much better than last year and the sun even came out and smiled for us.
I managed to stay in the sea for a good 20 min’s and some even managed 30 min’s.
We then had a fish and chip lunch, before walking along the beach to Dunwich heath national trust centre.
Where we had a welcome cup of tea before walking back and sampling Terry’s delicious Apricot wine.
A great day out enjoyed by all

Pingback: Geoff Jones » Dunwich Day out
Yikes that must have been cold!
Brrr! You are brave!
I cannot imagine that is something I could ever do. I hate to be cold and don’t swim well enough to keep warm.
I guess it is invigorating!
I love the walks around Dunwich, but would never be brave enough for this!
