Some things never change

Even at the age of 17 and 21 my boys like an advent calendar.
This year I dug out one they had as little boys and filled the days with a chocolate each.
Needless to say they were well pleased.
It just reminds me how much I have to do in the next 25 days

Final Batch of the year

Yesterday I made my last batch of Jam for this year.
The Damsons had been a gift from someone at work.
They have been sat in the freezer just waiting for me to find time for Jam making.
My friend was pleased with her Jar of Jam and I must say it is rather delicious.
Lets hope I have [...]

Cambridge massage UK

Over the past few weeks whilst doing my Swedish massage In Cambridge, UK I have been experimenting with a different massage oil, Pure virgin Coconut Oil

I am disappointed to admit that I have failed miserably to achieve either.
Within a week I had used over my months download limit so had to upgrade my package.
No matter what [...]

Found in England

This lovely Fruit was on the market in Cambridge this week-end.

It made me think of Welshcakes over at Sicily Scene, who is always sharing pictures of the lovely fruit found in Sicily.

New experience ..

Over the weekend Geoff and I went looking at houses, no not for us but for him
It was a totally new experience for me.
I have always had no choice about where I live or about the actual house, never even seeing the house till I arrive with the furniture van closely behind [...]

Autumn Walking

Today we did a 14 mile walk from Barley with the Cambridge Rambling Club.
Two weeks ago we walked 14 miles in torrential rain but today the weather was just perfect.
Blue skies and lots of sunshine made it one of the best autumn walking days.
The walk took us through many green lanes covered with fallen leaves.
All [...]

C8062598

These days I have trouble remembering telephone numbers, car registration numbers etc and always have to write them down.
Its a sign of getting old so I am told.
I was moaning about it this week after I took a number and forgot it with in minutes.
What I find amazing though is the fact that I Joined [...]

Rosemary Roasted Vegetable Lasagne

A request was made by Emily for a very vegetable dinner on Saturday evening.
A typical student away from home missing her fresh fruit and vegetables.
After going through my Slimming world recipes i decided a Vegetable Lasagne was just the answer.
The sauce is made from milk and Fromage Frais which makes it a far healthier dish [...]
