Autumn Walking

Today we did a 14 mile walk from Barley with the Cambridge Rambling Club.

Two weeks ago we walked 14 miles in torrential rain but today the weather was just perfect.

Blue skies and lots of sunshine made it one of the best autumn walking days.

The walk took us through many green lanes covered with fallen leaves.

All the winter wheat could be seen poking its head through the soil.

Only 5 weeks till the shortest day then spring will be on its way :-)

The photos look wonderful. I’d love to walk round some of these places myself but not sure I could manage 14 miles in one go!
