Goring to Windsor along the Thames path

As Geoff is still making his way along The Thames path it was decided that I should go and join him for the weekend :-)

So on Friday my friend Tom Tom and I made our way to Goring on Thames.

The plan was Goring to Henley on Saturday then Henley to Windsor on Sunday.

Fantastic weather conditions on the Saturday but a bit drizzly on the Sunday.

Beautiful scenery, bridges, locks, Boats and swans all the way.

A total distance of 43 miles was walked in 2 days :-)

Here is Geoff at the half way point, shame I wont be there to take his photo when he reaches the Thames barrier tomorrow :-(

Other photos from day one can be seen here and day two here

So did he walk through Henley and Marlowe on the way?…

    I love all them tiny ducks-n-swans :-]

ps I saw a moorhen the other day, making a nest out of soggy old cigarette packets!!
