On the slopes of Mont Chery

We woke to brilliant sunshine on our last skiing day in Les Gets.
So we decided to spend our last hours skiing/snowboarding on the red runs of Mont Chery .
I managed to ski from top to bottom with no falls , although I don’t pretend that I go very fast ,its still a great achievement [...]

Tonight after we had all been out for a very nice meal we sent the boys off bum boarding…..
If your not sure what that is …it’s where you slide down the snow sat on a plastic seat shaped like your bum, and you can go very very fast.

After only 3 days on a snowboard….
 

Well today was the day I got from the top all the way to the bottom in one go and what a great feeling it was too.
I seem to like the blue run’s as I still like the ski run to be nice and wide.
I lost count on how many blue run’s we did [...]

Today I finally realized that I can actually ski, just because I cannot get all the way down the mountain in one go does not mean I cannot ski.
Although I wont be happy until I can get down in one go I am sure doing better than last year.

When we went to get our ski’s I asked for some nice slow one’s
The ones they gave me are called Big an easy so that did make us laugh.
The boys decided they would like to try snowboarding .

Tomorrow I will be flying out to Les Gets with Geoff and my boys, for a week of skiing.
I am not the worlds best skier, here are my thoughts from last year.
