I think blogging has come a long way in the last ten years and while it’s still a news medium of a kind, it has become so much more. We all seem to have our own little circles which overlap with others. I am always amazed when I see someone whose comments I see on one blog at another completely different blog. Or a commenter from my blog obviously follows one of my commenters and becomes a fan, as Ian Lidster with Lady Mac, or Leslie at Welshcakes. There may be 70 million blogs out there but it’s a “small” world after all.
