A family Affair

Matthew my youngest son turned 16 at the beginning of the year, which meant he was now old enough to join the gym with Andrew,my other son, and I.

Thanks to the great discount I get through Tesco I could even afford to pay his monthly membership too.

So on Saturday he had his gym induction and tonight he could hardly wait to come down the gym with me.It was good to get him away from the Computer games he plays, world of war craft is the favorite one at the moment.

It was also great to spend some time with him too.

He is hoping to get into the Army foundation college at Harrogate in September so this is a good chance for him to improve his fitness.
His application form is all filled in and ready to return, its an exciting time as I know he will just love it and it will give him opportunities that he would never get if he stayed here.

I just hope he will be lucky enough to get a place at Harrogate.

Going down the gym is also a great way to keep him away from the girls too as I know once they get girlfriends they never want to go away from home šŸ™‚

Funny you should post this today, since when I was at the gym this morning I saw a notice I had never noticed before which said you had to be at least 18 to be in the gym unless accompanied by a personal trainer from the department, assuming you are having a training session I suppose.
