Today Geoff and I had an invitation to attend the opening of the new Clarins skin spa.
The spa is attached to John Lewis in Cambridge.
We were the first to arrive for the grand tour and was offered fruit juice and Danish pastry on arrival.
After a short introduction we were shown around the Body massage room, Facial room and Nail / Pedicure rooms too.
Each room has its own shower big enough to hold at least 4 people .
They gave a short demonstration and talk on each treatment, which made them all sound fantastic.
Then it was back downstairs for an easy fun quiz where one lucky person from the day would win four hundred pounds worth of treatments.
The opening offer was all treatments at half price…. how could we resist.
Geoff booked a Muscle Ease Body Massage, while I was very torn but decided on a Youth Booster Facial as it looked and sounded so good and I have never had a Facial before.
We left with complimentary goodie bags consisting of Relaxing bath and shower concentrate with the Relaxing body balm too and the same in toning.
I picked up a great tip too… they warm the oil they use for body massage, so I am going to get myself a baby bottle warmer and try it too .
Lucky you and Geoff. I love going to a day spa but they are so expensive that I only treat myself every couple of years.
There’s a Clarins spa in Romford… I am tempted to try the one Geoff had. Sounds wonderful!
Sounds wonderful 🙂
Sally, I know you will enjoy it. I bought my sister a voucher for a facial at the Ely Spa as a Christmas present, but she wouldn’t use it, she has never had a facial either. She redeemed it last week for some body creams. I was very sad because know she would have enjoyed it.
Sounds wonderful, I’ve never had a professional massage or any of that kind of treatment. Enjoy 🙂
