Yesterday I met up with the legstrecther walking group in Brandon for a 16 mile walk.
I always love to catch up with this group when Geoff is away and as usual they were happy to see me.
One of the reasons i like this group is because they offer a longer walk and as you know i do like a walk of at least 15 miles.
If your not quite up to that distance don’t be put off ,as the Norfolk Ramblers have a great walks programme with walks to suit all fitness levels.
17 other walkers turned up for this great walk which took us around the Norfolk/Suffolk border
Paul led the walk from Brandon to the High Lodge via Brandon country park and Santon Downham before returning to Brandon.
It was a great country walk done in brilliant sunshine with great company and certainly beats sitting at home on your own.
This post has been especially done for Blogging Norfolk ( if i have done it right 🙂 )
I always love to walk around the Wroxham area of the Norfolk Broads. Just walking along the broads and the Boat Yards of Wroxham and the surrounding area is great when I’m on a short break or holiday in Norfolk.
Looks idyllic!
Geoff… next week its the bluebell walk and I am hoping to get lots of nice photos… and another 15 miles walked 🙂
Excellent post and pleased you are getting some good walks in – Haven’t doneny walks in Costa Rica yet 🙁
Gosh, you must be fit.
Got it! Many thanks, Sally — we’ll put it up soon, or on the day.
All best, BN
