Usually at this time of year I start going out on my bike in the evenings… I alternate between running and riding 🙂
Since Andrew got his job though he’s been using my bike ..so I have been bike less 🙁
This week I had the offer of a ride out to Sandringham and I hate to turn that kind of offer down.
Lucky for me my son managed to get a lift to work that day.
So on Wednesday in brilliant warm sunshine I met up with Helen alias @cloudgazer and onethoughtfulwoman.
It was a 3 mile bike ride to Helen’s house and another 5 mile to Sandringham, we called into see @athinkingman / A Thinking man on the way too.
We took some great photos had a walk and tea and scones before returning home.
A perfect countryside day.
As Anne has pointed out to me I really do have the best of both worlds with my city and country life.
Tomorrow its a wedding in the city 🙂
More photos can be seen here and I want my bike back now 🙁
Sounds like a great area to ride or for walking and if you have the weather on your side too it must be great 🙂
Just scanning through these posts Sally and I don’t know how I missed this. I still remember it fondly and what a great time we had. Mr E is still lovingly looking after his lavender-now in the kitchen, bought for him on the day. I loved my new re-vamp bike and intend to spend a lot of time on it this summer.
Thanks for coming with me. It would have not been the same without you.
Sounds a wonderful day out Sally, and another wonderful lady to go out and about with too 🙂 You are lucky to have such lovely friends, that can just go out and about! And that like doing these kind of things.
I use a Recumbent Bike in workouts and it is great!
Ah it’s nice to see you both in the photo!
Sounds wonderful. I think a pint of beer and a packet of pork scratchings might be more me though than tea and scones!!!
Sounds like a wonderful day out 🙂
