Today  was a typical Indian summers days, very unexpected after the cold weather from last week.
As Jesus green outdoor pool is now closed we spent the afternoon down the river.
Enjoying a swim in the river and a BBQ to celebrate a friends birthday.
The river was freezing, but so exhilarating to swim in such cold water. [...]

Last week I made my second batch of blackberry and apple jam.
I made another 12 jars which taste as good as the first batch.
As I seem to give a lot of my jam away to special friends Geoff made me some great labels for the jars.
